Compostable Containers, Plates & Trays
Molded-fiber serving ware made from sugarcane bagasse: hinged takeout clamshells, 5-compartment school lunch trays and 7" and 9" round plates. Bagasse is a plant fiber left over from sugar production, so these products are compostable, sturdy enough for hot and greasy food, and a straight swap for foam and plastic.

Common questions
Are these products compostable?
Yes. The clamshells, school trays and round plates are all molded sugarcane-bagasse fiber, which is compostable.
Can bagasse handle hot food?
Yes. Molded bagasse holds hot, saucy and greasy food without going soggy the way thin paper does.
Who uses 5-compartment trays?
School cafeterias, correctional facilities, shelters and events that serve portioned meals.
